How is the quality of these products and has anyone ever ordered from them?
Hi, i have had more than one running with celeb boutique … i have bought 3 dresses, two of which came with and the othere peeling at the seem! Obviously i was furious and wanted to send them back… so i was adviced to do so and that they would refund both my money and postage! After 3 weeks of hearing nothing i got in reply and got told that my parcel was "not" delivered lucky i had tracking and proved them wrong, since doing so (4 months) i have not recieved an email back nor will any one answer the phone or reply on twitter that they update 100 times a date. So I am £360 out of pocket!! From doing my research i am not the only one that has recieved this kind of treatment and would like to make everyone else aware of there scams!! Me and my friends have recently found a new site for our dresses http://www.loshelle.com they are a smaller company there for they appreciate and care for every customer that they get. They have made me trust online shopping again, i returned a dress because the size didnt fit and with in a few days of returning the one, i had my new one :D! Hope this helps wouldnt like it to happen to any one else xxxx
i have ordered twice from celeb boutique but wont be doing so again! on each occasion i have placed an order i was not advised when placing my order the dress i ordered was out of stock but the payment was still taken from my bank ac. It was only once i emailed them to ask if my order had been despatched did they reply both times telling me the dress i ordered was out of stock and had to be backordered and i would receive it in 2-3 weeks. With my first order it took 7 weeks and several emails from me before i received my dress. With my second order i have been waiting 3 weeks so far with no sign of my dress so i emai;led them 2 days ago to ask about my order only to be told yet again there was a problem getting my dress back in stock and of course no apology! i can only assume i am in for another 7 week wait as i am afraid to cancel my order after reading about the problems others have had trying to get money back from cb. anyone else had a similar bad experience with cb? judie
I would never order from CB again! They have extremely poor customer service and refuse to answer emails when a refund is requested (there is always a prompt reply for orders!). I received my dress only to find it dirty and with a rip under the arm and was told I could send it back for a refund. I am still waiting for a refund 2 weeks later after CB confirming receipt of the dress back. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! Also they have a fake phone number on the site. I will be taking up this matter further with ACCC.
BE AWARE. NEVER buy anything from celeb boutique. I bought a dress that I wore for a few hours maximum and was left devastated when the zip broke and was left near enough naked at an event. Celeb boutique have refused to refund this £100 dress which is against the law – due to the sale of goods act 1979. An item has to be fit for purpose by law, a dress worn for 3 hours is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. Nothing was shown in the store (Meadowhall) or on the receipt that they didn’t refund faulty items. Just wanting to warn every other potential buyer, that if anything goes wrong with your purchase you will receive nothing but BAD customer service, emails sent from a Hong Kong address – that is if they get back in touch wih you at all that is. Have a look at the many negative comments on their Facebook page, if they haven’t deleted them all! I have been blocked by them from fb and Instagram for leaving negative feedback, my friend also had a bad time with them and her comments were also deleted. Very Currupt company if you ask me.
