There are a few accessories designers that just get me. They’re feminine and glamorous but quirky and bursting with personality. Sophia Webster lives at the top of that list. Every shoe she makes instantly makes me drool whether she’s mixing prints on a pump or doing an edgy strappy peeptoe moment. Her collaboration with J.Crew is one of the best things to happen to me, and the two are merely getting started. After a stellar inaugural collection, Sophia Webster for J. Crew holiday just debuted and — prepare yourself — it is gorgeous.

Tom Mora, head of J.Crew Women’s Design, and Sophia Webster are so happy with the collab, it’s a mutual loveliest. Tom said:
“Sophia Webster is such a natural fit for us – her use of color and patterns feels really in touch with the J.Crew DNA and all of the things we love. We try never to take ourselves too seriously, and I think she has that same sensibility.”
And Sophia echoed his sentiments:
“Bouncing ideas around with Jenna and Tom was a fun and creative process in SS14 and no less so in AW14. J.Crew have such an incredible library of materials and colours; I remember going into J.Crew HQ to meet with Tom and Jenna to discuss AW14 and on my way out I couldn’t resist looking at their colour library, it was my heaven, just rows and rows of pantone swatches hanging up on the wall! I’m very excited to see the samples for AW14 and to see how Jenna will style them into the collection.”
