Just grabbed a new plaid shirt Black Friday shopping at Sears

I have a confession. I’m actually terrified of in-store Black Friday shopping. I had one really bad experience in Times Square five years ago when I almost got separated from my little sister in a swarm of angry, aggressive shoppers. I swore I’d never do it again. But this year, I’m officially changed my mind. Why? Well, first my BFF Courtni gave me the scoop on all the great deals she gets on Black Friday so I figured it was worth another shot. Secondly, Sears lets Shop Your Way members shop privately on November 22nd (from 6-9PM) and get an early start on Black Friday shopping. For. The. Win.
Of course, I got there earlier than 6PM to plan out exactly what I wanted! I had my eyes set on some outdoor furniture for my backyard, a new TV and even some clothing items for my little niece for Christmas.

I was so pleased with the experience. There was absolutely no rush or chaos, the service staff was super helpful and the deals were unbelievable! I also did some early browsing on their site and used the ‘Reserve It’ program to reserve a few cute tops I saw. You guys may remember I used the ‘Reserve It’ program when back-to-school shopping with my niece here.
Here’s how it works:
-Sign up for Shop Your Way, log in to your account and select your local Sears store.
-The items will automatically update to only include pieces that are in stock (SO convenient!).
-Choose the product, style and size you want. Then, select “Reserve in Store.”
-You’ll receive an email notification when your products are ready to try on.
-After receiving your email, you have 48 hours to go to Sears, pick up the items at the Reserve It rack (located in the women’s apparel section) and try them on in-store. Purchase the pieces that work!
It was super convenient to just grab my tops from the ‘Reserve It’ rack without having too search through the store to find what I wanted.
I picked up a new microwave for the house, new clothing items (like the plaid shirt above) and a new TV. And I had SUCH a great shopping experience I’m sharing the fun with you.
