Enter to my new favorite online haunt, Rent The Runway. As I’m sure you know, the evidently genius folks over at RTR allow you to rent a dress (for a small price) to rock to your special event and then return after the party’s over—and have a selection that includes designers like Halston, Nicole Miller, Herve Leger, Milly and more. So convenient, so utterly fabulous!
I actually tried it during New York Fashion Week (with a to-die-for Subversive Jewelry necklace) and it was painfully simple and convenient. I mean, the necklace came with packaging already prepped for you to send it back in. Too easy!
And don’t worry your pretty little head about sizing. They have a foolproof sizing system on the site AND they send your pick in two sizes, so you can wear what fits best. Yea, they’ve thought of everything.
Now, if only they could send you a date with your dress…hehe.
