Hey Glamazons! Did you know that you can use your eyeliner for more than just lining your eyes? Backstage at the Public School show, makeup artist Grace Lee (for Maybelline) used the Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Pencil in Cashmere to draw horizontal lines across the lids and smudging gently to blur the linear effect. Sounds so strange, but it looks really cool!
“It’s the hints of whites when she blinks that makes the look so beautiful,” she said when questioned about the look. Here’s how you can re-create it for yourself:
-Prep skin with the Maybelline Face Studio Master Prime Blur + Illuminate and follow up with an even layer of the Maybelline Fit Me! Dewy + Smooth Foundation.
-Contour and highlight the skin with Face Studio Master Contour (launching January 2016) working around the bone structure and at the high planes and edges of the face.
-Set skin with the Maybelline Face Studio Master Fix Setting + Perfecting Loose Powder (launching January 2016).
-Define upper eyelid with Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner in Black and finish with a coat of the Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara in Black.
-For brows, she used the Brow Drama Pro Palette (launching January 2016) and for lips the Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color in Daringly Nude.
What do you think of this look, Glamazons?
