When your babysitter flakes out at the last second, you just suck it up and bring your toddler along for the ride. Luckily, #Arterbaby found The Rockettes to be highly entertaining, so they got along great!
Just in time for the holiday season, Pond’s announced their newest partnership with NYC’S finest: The Rockettes. I will just go ahead and admit that my love for this brand runs deep. My grandmother (whom I loved dearly, R.I.P.) used this stuff to wash her face and the scent always reminds me of her. I’ve also harbored a love for The Rockettes ever since I was a young girl. While I have yet to see one of the shows (I know, how do you live in NY for so long and never go?!), I definitely plan on checking one out this year.
As part of the partnership, the brand invited myself and several other editors over to Radio City Music Hall to learn more about The Rockettes and how they were incorporating Pond’s products into their everyday beauty routines. The first thing they revealed is that they do their own hair and makeup. I gasped upon hearing this news. The women on the team have such a pristine beauty look that I always just assumed that someone created it for them. Of course, I just had to know what their red lip of choice is and it’s none other than MAC’s Russian Red…which just so happens to be mine as well! LOVE.
While each of the girls has their own personal style when it comes to an everyday beauty regimen (some revealed that they wear makeup on their off days, while others don’t), one thing they all have in common is that they remove makeup from their faces every night. This is really impressive news to me considering that they dance for hours at a time and perform countless shows. At the end of the day, washing your face isn’t always the first thing that’s top of mind. However, the ladies revealed that they rely on the classic Pond’s Cold Cream as well as the cleanser and cleanser towelettes to wipe away all traces of makeup.
Here we all are attempting to learn that famous KICK – STEP The Rockettes perform every year. They make it all look so easy! LOL
