Hey Glamazons!
We’re back with more ah-mazing backstage beauty news and this time around we’re sharing deets about the makeup look from the Naeem Khan Spring 2014 runway show. James Boehmer, NARS Director of Global Artistry, was the brainchild behind the soft makeup look, inspired by famed Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.
Here’s what James said about the vision behind the look:
“The starting point of the inspiration was Frida Kahlo, but we didn’t want the makeup to be a literal interpretation. Instead, eyes are softly defined yet translucent; the lips are the focal point with a faded and diffused berry shade, complementing the collection.”
Here’s a rundown of the products that were used to create this ultra-femme beauty look.
FACE
-Apply Sheer Glow Foundation and Radiant Creamy Concealer to the face.
-Finish with Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder.
EYES
-Apply South Beach Multiple, Lola Lola Single Eyeshadow and Corfu Cream Eyeshadow.
-Next add Triple X Lip Gloss along the lash line.
BROW
-Touch up eyebrows with Oural Brow Gel.
-Apply Hyde Park Satin Lip Pencil followed by Yu Satin Lip Pencil.
Definitely a nice fresh-faced makeup look! What do you think of it, Glamazons?
Ciao Bellas,
Glamazon Margo
