New York was entertaining, London was pleasant, but Milan? Milan brought the drama! And I loved it. I got so excited scouting out trends for the next season that I think we will see everywhere.
Here are five that you can expect to rock next season:
Crop Tops
Are you still doing Kanye’s Workout Plan? I sure hope so, because crop tops like the ones we saw on Emilio Pucci, Missoni and Prada’s Spring 2012 runways are here to stay.
Sheer
I wasn’t sold on this sheer trend when it first starting popping up last Spring, but now that it’s had a chance to grow on me, I was quite please to see Marni, Missoni and Prada incorporate sheer into their collections.
Bold Prints
Go bold or go home, right Glamazons? According to the bold prints that pumped down Bottega Veneta, Prada, and Sportmax’s Spring collection.
Fringe
Fringe will surely send you swinging next Spring with the looks shown at Etro, Moschino, and Gucci.
Seafoam Green
Typically when I think of Spring, I think of soft pretty pastels like seafoam green and it looks like Dolce & Gabbana, Jil Sander and Sportmax did too by the amount of the color shown in their collections.
