Glamazons,
My earliest holiday memories involve riding in my Dad’s car listening to our favorite Christmas songs. The weather was freezing, the crowds at the mall were scary, but once we were in the comfort of that warm car playing holiday tunes, all was right in my little world. Those memories were the first thing to come to mind at Lincoln‘s holiday event this week. They had an exclusive end-of-the-year fête to cap off 2015 with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music and the newly designed Lincoln MKZ.

First, let me just say the performance was outstanding! YouTube sensation Sara Niemietz took the mic for the evening (sidenote: am I the only one that searches YouTube for new talent?! The best singers post covers and original songs on there!). Niemietz has over 110,000 subscribers and 17 million views! She sang covers of everything from classic carols to Adele.
And before the event, Niemietz and Emmy-nominated composer Snuffy Walden hit the streets of NYC for Lincoln MKZ pop-up performances. Their goal? Give city dwellers a break from the rush to enjoy the serenity of music during the holidays. LOVE. THAT! They were in for a treat: her voice is truly phenomenal.
The live music provided the perfect backdrop for the newly-designed Lincoln MKZ, which boasts the Revel® Ultima System with 19 expertly-placed speakers and 3 different listening modes. Needless to say, the sound is out of this world. It sounds like you’re in the front row of a concert, obviously my favorite spot to be in.

While chatting with my friends Theresa, Brande and Danielle at the event (see below – aren’t they gorgeous?), I learned a couple fashionable things about the car.
First, there’s this sleek compartment where you can fit your purse while driving.
This may seem minuscule but my bag is always moving and threatening to fall over with every sharp turn and sudden stop. A compartment just to store my bag is SO convenient.
Secondly, the trunk is actually much bigger than it appears. That black panel, which we equated to the black panels on a bodycon dress (LOL), makes it look tiny and sleek but it’s actually a lot deeper and more spacious than it looks. That’s such a clever design element!
Needless to say, I’m in love with the new Lincoln MKZ from the gorgeous, luxurious design to the state-of-the-art sound system. Perfect for blasting my favorite holiday songs, don’t you think?
