Introducing…Glamazon Chrissy!

There’s a new Glamazon on the block and, while she may be new here, she’s not really that new to the world of fashion or beauty. Her love for this crazy world spans all the way back to childhood with her abnormal obsession with magazines.

In fact, she still has magazines stacked up to the ceiling from the 80s–they start with her older sister’s subscriptions; go into her tween mags like J-14, Tiger Beat and YM; and then into her regular reads of ELLE, Glamour, TeenVogue, Real Simple. (Somehow, she just knew even back then she would want to flip through these issues for “ideas” for when she becomes an editor one day!)

Chrissy graduated as a Journalism major from Rutgers University (about 30 minutes from her Jersey hometown…insert her small, discrete fist-pump here!) and has had some pretty good luck freelancing right out of school with InStyle, then Nickelodeon and Glamour. (Side note: She met Ferocia at Glamour and they’ve been best freelancing buds ever since!)

Lately, she spends her days in the beauty closet at Glamour and at night she keeps up with all the beauty products she loves with  her Tumblr account (christajoannalee.com).

Chrissy’s one dream in life is to be a full-time beauty writer/blogger, but she also has a crazy love for all things fashion and accessories too (as her bank account sometimes reminds her…ugh).

She can also be found doing other glamorous things like taking pictures with Victoria’s Secret models (like she’s doing above hahaha)
