Would You Rock…Hair Perfume?

Glamazons,

When Beyonce gives beauty advice, you listen. She shared a jewel with People StyleWatch once, telling the magazine she sprays perfume in her hair “because a lot of people get a nice whiff of your hair when they give you hugs.” I’ve been doing that ever since (but only when I wear extensions) and it totally works!

Anyway, all this time I thought this was a beauty tip only Beyonce and I (and everyone else that reads People) knew about. Unbeknownst to me, hair perfume is a thing and there’s a market behind it.

Brands like Marchesa, Thierry Mugler and philosophy are churning out perfume for your hair. And we’re not just talking about conditioner that smells good — we’re talking about perfume just for your strands.

Like Queen Beyonce said, it’s great because the scent is long-lasting and people get a whiff when they come close. But the downside to hair perfume (and any perfume really) is that the ingredients can be drying. Would you give it a try?

If so, shop here:
