Glamazons, consider this post your personal Target commercial with that crazy woman running up and down aisles in stilettos and legwarmers or lifting those shopping baskets outside of the store. We can prep here together so no one has to go to such extremes.
So who does one prepare to shop on Black Friday? Develop a good game plan. Here’s how:
1. Create a list
This will make sure you stay focused and not just grabbing things because the price sounds good. You’ll be able to get in, get out and go to the next stop.
2. Check ads
Most stores are advertising the deals going on Friday already online, some even offer comparison deals. You can expect a post with deals here too, Glamazons.
3. Compare, compare
If the site doesn’t have a comparison list, then do the comparison yourself. Just because it’s a Black Friday deal doesn’t mean it’s the best price for whatever you’re buying.
4. See if you can stack on coupons
Check before you get to the store if you can use coupons in conjunction with the Black Friday deal. Websites like Retail Me Not, the Bargainist, Living Social, and Groupon could offer additional savings.
5. Update info with online sites
If you plan on shopping online, you can update your address and credit card info. Even adding items to your cart in case you can access it Black Friday for easy and swift checkout.
6. Make sure you understand return policies
You don’t want to buy something, change your mind and decide to exchange it only to find out you can’t because of some of rules regarding Black Friday purchases.
7. Get there early
Web or in store. Enough said.
8. Earn Cash Back
If you shop using FatWallet.com or Ebates, you can get a percentage back. Who doesn’t like that?
9. Or just wait for Cyber Monday
If you don’t want to brave the Black Friday madness, do it all from your computer on Monday.
I hope this helps, Glamazons! Stay tuned for a complete list of Black Friday deals. What are you planning to scoop up?
Stay Stylish,
Glamazon Channing
