TRY THIS: Daphne Guinness For MAC Collection

OMG Glamazons! You know, I always have a moment anytime I get my hands on pretty much any new-to-the-market beauty product, but this is one collection where I seriously thought I was going to actually swoon. (Like need-my-smelling-salts type of swoon. Unfortunately I have no such thing, so instead I just gasped. Really loudly.)

Of course, you totally knew that the collection was coming, but for some odd reason I imagined it to be full of dark, edgy colors that no normal woman could wear on the streets. However, I was pleased to find that the shades in the collection are the exact opposite. It’s full of lavenders, deep roses and grey blues. According to the press release, the collection is a “window into [Daphne’s] imagination.”

Here's the eyeshadow palette called Interior Life Quad. Totally wearable for a daytime smokey eye!

My fave lipgloss in the collection is a Creme Sheen Glass appropriately named Narcissus.

So you know I had to swipe these other lip shades I have! (from l to right, top to bottom) Longwear Lipcreme in Warp Speed; Creme Sheen Glass in Japanese Spring; Longwear Lip Creme in Approaching Storm; Creme Sheen Glass in Narcissus. Which shade do you think looks best, Glamazons?

You can get these products now at maccosmetics.com and ranges in prices $26 for the Blush Ombre to $15 for the Powerpoint Eye Pencils and Nail Lacquers.

Well, what do you think of this new collection (i.e. the shades of Daphne Guinness’ imagination?)

xoxo
