Glamazons, When I glanced at my calendar and realized Easter is in just a few short weeks, I could hardly believe it. Time is waiting for no one. But mini panic attack aside, the Easter holiday is one of my favorites. Getting dressed up from head to toe, showing praise for all the sacrifices that were made for my life and fellowshipping with family and friends? I’m all for it. Especially dressing up.
Easter brings back a flood of amazing memories. When I was younger, I sat in my mom’s closet and watched in awe as she readied herself for church in her finest dresses, polished pumps and glam accessories. I wanted to dress just like her. And to this day, I still want to live up to the fashionable example she set.
Although it gets harder and harder finding the perfect outfit to honor such a cherished tradition, what makes the process a little easier is knowing there are different Spring staples – florals, pastels, rich colors – to play with. Even better is these are pieces you likely already have hanging in your closet. So you can get dressed to the nines without breaking the bank. Love it.
Let’s get into the looks, shall we?
Need a little glamspiration? Get into these 4 swoon-worthy Easter outfit ideas:
1. A Textured Frock
Spring is all about soft tones and feminine silhouettes. So, opt for the perfect Easter-ready piece: a flattering pastel frock. Throw on a neutral wool coat for a play on textures. And pull the look together with a cute strappy heel, chic shades and a punchy coral lip.
2. A Polka Dot Skirt
I love breaking up my look with stylish separates. A polka dot skirt matched with a white crop top is the perfect combination for an eye-catching statement. Pointy-toe heels and a colorful fedora give the ensemble a dressy feel.
3. All-Over Floral
Go bright and bold in a shift dress decorated with floral appliqué. A white cape blazer amps up the sophistication while yellow block heels and a matching floral handbag make for the ultimate Spring look.
4. Elegant Culottes
Want to make a lasting impression but dresses and skirts aren’t really your thing? Culottes are a great alternative. Not only are they comfy, they are also super versatile. Dress up a pair with a luxe sweater and pumps. Ladylike pearls and a veiled headband really add the wow factor.
