TRY THIS: Amala Purifying Clay Mask

Just when you think that you’re about to freak out, pass out or do something extremely dreadful that you’ll regret in the morning (and I don’t mean committing a crime..more like something along the lines of sleeping with someone you have no business like your doorman or even your boss) you’ll get an e-mail inviting you to experience an amazing opportunity! OK, maybe this doesn’t really happen to you, per say, but I can honestly say that it usually happens to myself and other beauty blogging friends that I know here in New York.

Luckily before I committed some act of stressed-out craziness, I was extended the opportunity to come to the Mandarin Oriental Spa and receive a facial using all-natural Amala products. [insert super squeal here] I’ve been trying to get my body into this place since I heard my former boss at The Magazine talk about how glamazing it is.

For those of you that have never heard of the Mandarin Oriental Spa, let me tell you that you’re totally missing out if you haven’t been before. The ambience is beautiful, the views are breathtaking and the specialists there are super nice and professional. Also, they have this awesome room that contains a huge jacuzzi and steam room.

My aesthitician used a plethora of products on my face, but my fave is the Amala Purifying Clay Mask from their Blue Lotus collection. Unlucky for me, I’m like the queen of clogged pores which means that I get blackheads by the dozens if I don’t de-clog my skin on a weekly basis. What I liked most about this product isn’t only that it looks like a real clay mask based off of its brown color, but that my skin felt like it could breathe after it was removed. Ahhh! Freeing your pores is like taking a long drink of cool water after a hard, long work out.

The Amala Purifying Clay Mask is kind of pricey ($58), but I’d like to think it’s because it contains high powered all-natural ingredients so that you get immediate results. Hope that you give it a try, Glamazons and be sure to let me know what you think of it after you do!

xoxo
