Every spring the glossies announced that florals are the ‘it’ trend for the spring, and welp, your about to hear it some more. Except this time, the florals that are all the rage, are soft, pastel, and um, sort of Laura Ashley. No me gusta, especially because the margin of error is huge. You could end up looking like doctor’s office’s wall paper. Again, no me gusta.
The florals sent down the runway during fashion week, kicked up the trend to glamazing levels. We can also take a fashion cue from our favorite celebrites, with these tips:
It might be best to start small– with accessories. Think a floral clutch or shoes paired with a neutral outfit.
But do not, pair floral accessories with floral clothing! Pair floral clothing with edgier accessories if you want to glam it up, or soft feminine pieces for a super girly look.
