Glamazons,
From the moment I discovered cowashing (in December of 2011), I’ve been on a search for a great cleasing conditioner for natural hair. I was in dire need of something that would leave my hair feeling clean while still giving it the moisture it needs (moisture is like the hardest thing to come by when you’re natural, I’ve realized).
I’ve tried a million cleansing conditioners – and nothing really worked. Some left my hair feeling sticky (eeewww), clearly NOT clean (you could still see residue! epic fail) or dry as the Sahara desert. Like so dry I could break one of my curls in half. Mess.
And then I found Wen by Chaz Dean.
My love affair with Wen began because my glamazing friend and model Natarsha recommended it. I was immediately skeptical because I never trust things sold on TV (shady, I know) but her curls are beyond perfect so when she raved about it, I knew it was worth a try.
I immediately fell in love. It leaves my hair clean while sealing in moisture and shine. And my curls just pop after applying. They’re super springy and defined. A trick I use is I leave a handful of Wen in my hair as a leave-in conditioner to keep curl definition after I’m done co-washing.
Oooo and the “sweet almond mint” scent smells delish.
Oh and another bonus! If you dyed your natural hair (like I did), it revives the color and helps it last.
I love it so much I got a gift set for my friends to try. And now I’m sharing it with you, Glamazons, because you know I can’t keep quiet about a good thing.

Will you give Wen by Chaz Dean cleansing conditioner a try on your hair? Have you used it? What was your experience?
