Try This: Mario Badescu Skincare Products

Hey Glamazons! So, I’m currently sitting here at the airport and waiting to board a plane to Florida to hang out with Mary J. Blige at HSN. (Yeah, can you tell by the words I’m typing that I’m super excited about the whole situation?! If not, just know that I am. She’s going to be singing songs from her amazing new album “My Life II: The Journey Continues..Act I” in addition to selling her newest fragrance, My Life Blossom. Ok, so back to the topic at hand: Mario Badescu. The whole reason these amaze products even popped into my head is because my skin has been on Level D lately. (Yeah, that “D” stands for “Disgustor.” I’ve been super stressed just trying to live and when that happens I usually eat copious amounts of McDonald’s Chicken Nuggets and guzzle insane amounts of Diet Coke. I’m sure that if I didn’t work out, I’d probably have more than just that one zit that refuses to leave my face.

Enter Mario Badescu.

I recently went into their space at 320 E. 52nd St. here in New York and received an amazing facial from Julia. Her hands were super soft and comforting and while she complimented me by saying my skin was “beautiful” she did remind me that I definitely needed to drink more water. (Yeah, you know it’s bad when that’s the first thing you hear when getting a facial. Yikes!) She managed to clear out all the gunk in my skin in about an hour and advised me to clean the screen on my cell phone weekly. (Side note: Did you know that the grossness that lives on your cell phone can lead to blocked pores when you hold it up to your ear while talking?! Yeah, me neither.)

In addition, she gave me a complete skincare regimen to try (those are the products that I’m supposed to be using daily/weekly pictured above). While I will admit that I’ve been so crazy busy that I haven’t had a chance to really delve into the entire regimen I will say that the Hyaluronic Eye Cream is amazing and I’m in love with the Honey Moisturizer! (Side note: Glamazons, if you use nothing else on your face during the fall/winter time, make sure that you invest in a good eye cream and face moisturizer to keep dry skin at bay. Because flakes on your face is just NOT a good look.)
