What I Wore: Rodarte for Target and Christian Louboutin

So, as you know, Glamazon Channing did the most amazing post about birthday outfits, and mentioned that mine was coming up.

Well, to celebrate my friends threw a dinner party at Calle Ocho in Manhattan (which you must visit if you’re in the NYC area!) — and I considered it the perfect occasion to glamorize my everyday look (as if us Glamazons ever really need a reason to dress up =).

I wore a dress I’ve been eyeing from Rodarte for Target for like years. Thank the Fashion Gods, Target reissued the dress for the Go International Designer Collective and while innocently buying a vacuum in Brooklyn’s Atlantic Mall, I came across this beauty.

It’s lingerie meets ladylike; a peach lace slip dress with bow shoulder detail draped in tulle. Swoon. I scored it for $15!!

I paired it with another dainty piece: Christian Louboutin white patent leather sandals with a T-Strap adorned with sculptural ruffles.

I bought these at the Christian Louboutin sample sale and have been rocking them in my apt ever since.

Topped it off with a pair of vintage gold earrings, MAC Satin lipstick in Rebel with MAC Dazzleglass Creme in Radiant Jewels on top and a huge curly fro.

Next time, I think I’m going to grunge up the dress with a leather jacket and studded belt. What do you think of the look?

Kisses,

Glamazon Jessica

You look so cute! I love the entire outfit…. you wear it so well. And for $15… doesn't get any better than that! xoxo
