Glamazon Jessica has the right idea when it comes to dressing in warmer layers. Keep layers light and don’t forget the shades! The thing is, you can’t forego a professional dress code just because you almost got a heat stroke on the commute to work. I prefer to just live in dresses and skirts. Throw on a pair of wedges, a light scarf or cardi to keep warm in the air conditioner and I’m good to go. Whatever you choose to beat the heat in, follow these tips:
Please, be modest. You can’t bare the girls, your arms, and long legs. Save it for cocktails with the girls afterward.
Pick light weight fabrics. Think microfibers in light colors: yellow, coral or cream.
You can get away with shorts and they are longer and the rest of the outfit is modest.
Bring a sweater or blazer for the chilly office air.
