Glamazons – Summer is coming to a close (can you even believe that it’s already August?!) but this only means that now you’ll finally have a chance to get your hands on all of the fab new fall beauty products that brands are currently launching. Here are a few of our favorite picks from L’Oreal’s latest launch of skincare/cosmetic products:
1. L’Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Sculptor ($8.99)
Throw out any bulky brow kits you may be currently harboring in your makeup bag and replace with this nifty pencil. It contains a Precision Pencil Tip to fill in sparse or unshapely brows with color; a Soft Brush Tip to help you easily blend the color and create definition to your arch; and Fixing Wax (the white part of the pencil) to set brow shape for a long lasting, non-sticking finish. It comes in three shades: blonde, brunette and dark brunette. So easy to maintain perfectly groomed brows!
2. L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Eye Shadow Quads ($9.99)
Sometimes eye shadow palettes can be super complicated for no reason. How are you supposed to know where to apply each shade?! UGH. Luckily, these eyeshadow quads make it super easy to create amazing eye looks due to its goof proof lay-out of four shades and easy to follow directions on the back. Available in a eight color palettes, you’re sure to find a great day look (the Rose Nude and Perpetual Nude are two of our faves) or night (the Eternal Blue palette is fabulous).
3. L’Oreal Paris Visible Blur Collection
Foundation ($14.99): This stuff is like a filter for your face! It contains Opti-Blur Technology; which basically means that skin looks instantly smoother and younger after just one application. Fine lines, wrinkles, pores, and whatever other things you may not want to show up that day on your skin are instantly gone. SPF 18 is also included, so no need to worry about harmful UVA/UVB rays. The best part is that while it reads like this stuff would be super heavy on your skin, it’s totally not. It’s super light, doesn’t cake up, leaves skin feeling soft and is just all-around awesomeness. Available in 12 shades from Light Ivory to Classic Tan, you’re sure to find the perfect hue for you!
Concealer ($12.99): If you need additional coverage, be sure to grab this in addition to the Visible Lift Blur Foundation. It contains pretty much the same technology and works wonders on dark circles. Just pat gently underneath the eyes before foundation application for an easy way to look like you’ve gotten a zillion years worth of sleep and rest. Available in three shades (Fair, Light and Medium).
Blush ($12.99): Keep the vibrancy train chugging by patting on some of this blush. Available in three shades (Soft Peach, Soft Pink and Soft Berry), each of them are super sheer and pretty.
4. L’Oreal Paris Silkissime Eyeliner by Infallible ($8.99)
Glamazons, if you’re looking to update your makeup bag with new eyeliners for the fall season, these are IT! It promises 16 hours of smudge-proof wear and while we aren’t very sure of the exact amount of hours that it lasted, we are sure of one thing: it didn’t smudge, budge or give us raccoon eyes the entire day of wear. The creamy formula glides on smoothly making application a breeze. There are 6 new shades available in the collection and we are loving the True Teal (a beautiful shade of blue) and Green Ivy (this has currently replaced our inky black eyeliner).
5. L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Skincare Collection
We are never ones to turn down the opportunity to have glowing skin and this is one skincare collection that definitely delivers. After washing your face, start by applying the Age Perfect Cell Renewal Golden Serum Treatment ($24.99). Sometimes when we are pressed for time in the morning, we’ll just use this serum before applying makeup as it leaves your skin looking radiant and provides the perfect balance of moisture. However, if you feel the need to apply more moisture, follow up by applying the Age Perfect Cell Renewal Day Cream Moisturizer ($24.99). It contains SPF 15 and instantly smoothes and softens the skin. Each night, use the Age Perfect Cell Renewal Night Cream Moisturizer ($24.99) to help speed surface skin renewal and reveal supple, dewy skin upon awakening.
6. L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Glossy Balm Crayon ($7.99)
We are huge fans of anything that comes in chubby pencil form (hey, they’re just easier to apply + stow) so, of course we were over-the-moon-estatic about these new lip crayons. They go on smooth and leave a high, glossy shine (nothing tacky or sticky, though). LOVE. Available in 8 shades (our faves includes Lovely Mocha (makes for a great nude look!) and Pink Me Up (obviously a perfect shade of pink!)).
