You may already know this but I am SO not a morning person. I drag myself out of bed and walk zombie-like to my Keurig machine for coffee to bring me to life. In the event that I actually go out the night before, I’m pretty much dead until noon the next day. And trust me: it shows on my face. So when Clinique invited me to their Daybreaker event, a dance movement to “pep-start” your morning, I was a little apprehensive.
The concept isn’t totally foreign to me. I’ve ran early in the morning before (I’m talking 7AM) — and I definitely feel more energized after. But I don’t mind looking like a Walking Dead extra when I’m just jogging around my neighborhood. A dance party, downtown, full of trendy New Yorkers is a total different story.
Before I left, I tried Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream to see if it would make any difference. Full disclosure: most eye creams take a couple uses before any noticeable changes. Clinique Pep-Start worked right away. Like, how Sway?
