I love chatting with you guys about clothes to wear to New York Fashion Week but having the right makeup look is just as important. Ever since my first season (sooo long ago back at the tents at Lincoln Center!), I’ve been just as amazed by a flawless contour as I am by a glorious pair of shoes. When it comes to my Fashion Week beauty look, I always go for a high-impact moment that turns heads (hello, street style photogs!). I let one of my makeup elements take center age whether it’s a bold lip or a smoky eye. As for the rest of my face, I love glowing skin, full lashes and recently, I added a highlight and contour regimen.
Sounds like a lot but here’s how I make it super quick and convenient. First, since I’m always on the go, I don’t have time to revamp my beauty arsenal every time Fashion Week comes around. I love a good one-stop shop with a wide assortment of beauty buys like Walgreens. It literally has everything I need for beauty from skincare to makeup — simple, convenient, and most importantly, affordable.
Here’s my quintessential New York Fashion Week makeup look using Walgreens products!
1. The right beauty look starts with good skincare! Before even applying makeup, I use the amazing anti-aging Botanics BOT Triple Age Facial Serum after cleansing. Later in the week, I love Botanics BOT All Bright Rad Balm to revitalize my skin after nights without sleep.
2. After applying primer and concealer, I contour with NO7 Perf Bronzed Mosaic Bronzer. I apply Botanics BOT Highlighter Pen in Warm to the top of the apples of my cheeks, in my cupid’s bow and on my nose.
3. I dust my eyelids with Colour Prevails Eye Shimmer Powders.
4. Line the top of my eyes with Vivid Vinyl Eyelining Fluid and line my under eye with Color Saturated Eye Crayon.
5. I use NO7 Lash Impact Mascara in black.
6. I apply Lustrous Shine Lip Polish to finish the look.
The final look is so beautiful and polished with just enough pizazz to be worthy of New York Fashion Week street style photos. What do you think of my look?
