Nail Music Festival Style with 6 Pieces You Already Own

I do this every year. Coachella comes around and I wonder why I made absolutely no plans to go. Like, how does that happen year after year? But I can’t complain: I’m headed to New Orleans Jazz Fest weekend after next and going to Governor’s Ball this summer. AND I loved #Couchella (aka dressing up and watching the Coachella livestream right from your couch) last year and plan to watch Drake tonight dressed in my festival best.

Whether you’re headed to Coachella Weekend 2 or tracking the festivities from home, here are some looks that are perfect for the occasion. Best part: each outfit is centered around an item already in your closet! Check them out:

Floral Dress

Layer a denim vest over a floral dress to add a little edge. Pile on the festival-friendly accessories from gladiator sandals to the ubiquitous flower crown.

Printed Shorts

Style your favorite pair of printed shorts with Coachella staples: a long crochet cardigan, coin necklace, wide-brimmed hat and tough ankle boots.

Cutoff Shorts

Cutoff shorts are a must at Coachella! Team yours with a cropped graphic sweatshirt, mirrored lens glasses, printed accessories and Converse sneakers.

A new addition to the Coachella style landscape, culottes are the perfect festival piece. They’re breezy, effortless and can be paired with a crop top. Add a body chain, embellished sunglasses and a fruit-inspired bag for the perfect Coachella look.

Printed Crop Top

One of the biggest trends of the year is tailor made for Coachella: mixed prints. Pair your printed crop top with a complimentary pair of patterned shorts for a super stylish look. Throw on fringe accessories and a wide-brimmed hat to give your look a boho vibe.

Wideleg Pants

Few things are more comfortable than a pair of wideleg trousers. Pair them with a crochet bikini top and sleeveless cardi, a body chain draped around your waist and gladiator sandals for a fun, ’70s-inspired look.

Glamazons, do you love festival fashion? What’s your go-to look? And are any of you headed to Coachella Weekend 2? If so, I’m jealous haha.
