Hey Glamazons! I know, I know. Where have I been? Swamped with moving, that’s where. (Click here if you want to know the deets.) But, I’m back talking beauty to you and the first thing we need to discuss immediately are these new Custom Cover Drops from Cover FX. This product deserves a spot in the Beauty Product Hall of Fame because it allows you to create the perfect foundation. Just mix a few drops with any liquid (moisturizers, serums, primers, foundations and tinted moisturizers) and this pure pigment will transform into the perfect customized coverage. How does it work? Well, it contains Flash Fusion Technology, which basically means that everything but the pure pigment flashes off of any liquid that you mix it with. Each drop is coated with Lecithin, which is biochemically similar to skin and smoothes the pigment particles so they spread easily. You can mix with your fingers or use a foundation brush. The number of drops you add into your liquid of choice will depend on what type of coverage you create. So, for example, I added a drop to my daily moisturizer (which right now is the Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum) and created a look similar to what you’d find in a tinted moisturizer. However, if you add four drops in, you create more coverage (i.e. similar to what you’d find in a foundation). So amazing and it’s ridiculous how obsessed I am with this stuff!
