Glamazons,

When I first got wind of blogger Nicolette Mason‘s Modcloth collection via a couple behind-the-scenes pictures she posted on Instagram, I knew the line would be nothing short of amazing. Not only does the campaign feature my faves (Gabi Fresh, Christina of Profresh Style and Dannielle of Everyone is Gay) but it also showcases feminine yet edges pieces, inspired by John Waters and girl gangs. I mean, how cool do they look?

Gorgeous!

I’ve followed Nicolette for years and I love what she stands for: body acceptance for all sizes. And she’s a talented dresser with a feminine and delightfully quirky sense of style. Her line, thankfully, is true to her sartorial point-of-view.

The best part about the 11-piece collection, priced from $45-$150, is the size range. It’s available from extra small to 4X so no size group (including petites!) is left out.

When The Cut asked Nicolette why it was important to encompass all sizes, she said:

“My platform has never been just about talking to the plus-size woman. It’s always been about empowering all people — not just women either — to be able to approach style in a real and tangible way and feel like they have access to fashion. And that’s something that I think really surpasses size, gender, and sexuality. And so for me to do any sort of collaboration or collection and have it only serve a small portion of the population, even though that’s an underserved portion of the population, felt like not really putting my money where my mouth is.”

Love that!

Here’s what I’m getting:

1. The Nicolette pink polka dot dress, $125

Nicolette and I share a love for vintage ’50s style and this dress perfectly encapsulates the era’s love affair with polka dots, cinched waists and flared hems. Can’t wait to edge this up a bit with buckled booties and a leather jacket! Get it HERE.

2. The Charming Coterie Sweatshirt, $45

This sweatshirt adds a luxe twist to the casual staple thanks to the scripted words “Les Femmes.” Love how Gabi tied it (DIY crop top!) and dressed it up with a skirt and heels.

3. The Take Charge Charm Jacket, $70

This supercool blazer can be worn with the matching pants or thrown over a frilly summer dress for a masculine edge. I love the contrast of an ivory jacket with black lapels – that’s going to pop beautifully when layered over brights. Get it HERE.

4. The Band of Bold Skirt, $60

Guys, I’m drooling over this skirt! It combines two of the hottest skirt trends: tulle (thanks to the overlay) and high-low (the mini peeking underneath). It’s a must-get! Get it HERE.
