If you’ve had a chance to check out my #NolaCrawl schedule for the Essence Festival this weekend, I’m sure you spotted the Eden Bodyworks #CelebrateMyBeauty event on Friday from 3-5PM at the W Hotel.
They’re no longer taking RSVPs but they will take walk-ups on the day of! I’m super excited to go because Eden Bodyworks is one of the few natural hair brands I swear by and use religiously. The ingredients are just better and it shows in my hair: my curls stay defined and my hair stays moisturized and strong when I use it. I’ve went on and on about the Peppermint Tea Tree collection but their Coconut Shea line is just as amazing (more on this later).

Anyway, I only go to events for brands I actually believe in and Eden Bodyworks is at the top of my list. It was founded by Jasmine Lawrence, who built the brand from scratch at age 13. She’s so inspiring and has such a beautiful spirit. To that end, her event is about more than just exterior beauty. They’ve incorporated health/wellness stations and massages so guests will leave feeling inspired, pampered and renewed which fits right in with our #FabFit mission. Add manis, makeovers and product samplings and this is my kind of event!
You’ll get to meet Jasmine as well as Francheska Medina of Hey Fran Hey at the event, and of course, my #NolaCrawl boos, Lexi, Christina and I will be there.
