Did you love Chanel’s grocery store-themed Fall 2014 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week? I did! It was so unexpected. Leave it to Karl Lagerfeld to make strolling through the produce aisle chic!
Grocery shopping has never looked more beautiful.
It also appeared that one of our favorite Glamazons loved the supermarket theme too. Rihanna was spotted posing it up with models Cara Delevingne and Joan Small. BadGalRiri had fun hanging on the back and front of Chanel shopping carts just like we did when we went to the market with our moms. She’s so fun!
Its safe to say Rih knows how to have fun whereever she goes. And she always brings the style factor.
For her front row appearance, Rihanna donned a head-to toe Chanel look. She looked chic in a lavender and metallic print dress along with a crop jacket.
Rih took the classic look up a notch with a matching fanny pack and (surprise!) a pair of sneakers. Rihanna finished her look with a long black bob with a blunt bang. Love that hairstyle on her! What do you think of her look?

Inspiration: Karl Lagerfeld went an unexpected route this season, positioning his collection as a satire on consumerism and casual wear. Fashion’s elite pored into a veritable Chanel grocery store with detergent, potato chips, fresh produce, candies, house paint, water and even a chain saw emblazoned with the famous Chanel logo. The industry luminaries who were lucky enough to attend let loose like kids separated from their mothers in the junk food aisle, riding on carts, snapping Instagram pics and even looting (though everything had to be returned but the produce and candy). Karl took them on an adventure, where a monotonous task usually reserved for housewives was given new life.
Key Pieces: Bubblegum pink tweed separates and jumpsuits, rainbow tweed oversized coats, colorful trainers, lamé pants, metallic trench coats, pink lace-up sneaker boots.
