Have you been watching the first season of Being Mary Jane? When Glamazon Makho and I sang our praises about the first episode and movie, respectively, we had no idea what was in store for the season.
The scripted show, penned by Mara Brock Akil, has us knee-deep in our feelings about Mary Jane‘s tumultuous love life!
At the same time, Being Mary Jane‘s main character, played by Gabrielle Union, struggles with compromising her integrity for her career, keeping her family in check and pursuing her dream of one day having a family of her own. Whew – she’s dealing with so much!
On Tuesday’s episode, in the middle of her argument with (fione) Andre, played by Omari Hardwick, I realized that she argues in high fashion. Mary Jane cooked the equivalent of the last supper for Andre in a Givenchy scarf print tank maxi dress (also spotted on Kim Kardashian):
Don’t we all wish we could make dinner in Givenchy?
I’m really in love with the scarf print on the dress which infuses digital and graphic patterns for a look you can’t help but staring at!
