Can you believe there are some people out there who think women with dark skin should avoid purple lipstick? They obviously haven’t heard of MAC Heroine lipstick.
The color looks ravishing on brown skin, as evidenced by my beautiful sister who tried MAC Heroine on at the MAC Cosmetics counter over the holiday.
I was right behind her, swatching it and figuring out which pencil would compliment MAC Heroine best (their magenta lip pencil if you’re wondering).
I love that even though MAC Heroine is matte, it’s not drying! I’d still recommend priming your lips before wearing it so it’s extra nourishing.
It’s also long-lasting (seriously, it takes forever to fade) and blends with so many skin tones. No wonder it’s a cult classic!
So glad MAC brought it back! Pick MAC Heroine up here.
