My Holiday Makeup Look with @MaryKay: Smoky Eye and a Neutral Lip! #MKHolidaylook #MKTrend

Glamazons,

‘Tis the season for fabulous makeup! The holidays just give me an excuse to go for glitz and glamour with my makeup (which is really what I want to do all year long).

To compliment my sequin dresses and embellished heels, I love to channel vintage Hollywood with my makeup! Fortunately, I got some glamspiration with three looks from Mary Kay‘s December print advertorial, “Vintage Holiday.”

Check out each of the looks, created by celebrity makeup artist Mariela Bagnato and inspired by Saucyglossie blogger, Lindsey Calla, below.

Inspired by the flappers of the 1920s, Flapper Chic features a smoldering smoky eye with neutral lips and cheeks to balance the look.

Inspired by 1940s film noir, Silver-Screen Siren includes a sassy plum lip, shimmery eyes and subtle flush on the cheeks.

Inspired by the 1970s sleek and sexy menswear-influenced style, The White-Hot Suit look centers around a winged eye and bold red lip.

Love them all!

It was hard to choose one look to try but I’m OBSESSED with smoky eyes (of course!) so I had to go with “Flapper Chic.”

I started with the Mary Kay® Foundation Primer Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 to keep my makeup in place.

EYES

Then, I applied Mary Kay® Eye Primer before dusting my eyelid with Mary Kay At Play™ Baked Eye Trio in Tuxedo. I then rimmed my eyes with Mary Kay® Eyeliner in Black, and finished with Mary Kay® Lash Love® Mascara in I ♥ Black.

CHEEKS

I went light on the blush with a subtle flush of Mary Kay® Mineral Cheek Color in Shy Blush.

LIPS

I applied Mary Kay® Lip Primer followed by Mary Kay® True Dimensions Lipstick and Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus® Lip Gloss in Café au Lait.

Finally, I finished off the look with Mary Kay® Makeup Finishing Spray by Skindinävia.

Here’s the finished look:

What do you think? I think it’s so cute for a holiday party!

Which look would you go for: flapper, 70s white hot or silver screen siren?

If you want to try any of these looks at home, pick up the corresponding products at Mary Kay here.

They also have great products for stocking stuffers, secret Santa gifts and beauty baskets. I mean, what girl wouldn’t love to see that plum lip under the tree? You can also check Mary Kay out on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

Kisses,

Glamazon Jessica

You’re looking gorgeous with this look. Very natural and can compliment day/night out look. I really like the eyes, that’s where you place most of the emphasis and attention. And it compliments well with the overall look.
