I happen to think a good pair of embellished, sequin or studded shoes are a necessary part of every Glamazon’s wardrobe — not-to-mention a work of art. You’re talking to someone who keeps her satin Christian Louboutin bow pumps on display on the mantel because they’re a conversation piece. Naturally.
Holiday offers up the opportunity to wear conversation pieces on your feet and not look overdressed. In fact, the season welcomes it: sparkly shoes are as festive as you can get. And the way they jazz up an outfit is just unparalleled.
You can take a black dress from basic to the most eye-catching, head-turning outfit at the party. Such is the power of a good holiday shoe.
