Glamazon Wheels: The Lincoln MKC Comes With an App That Can Start The Car Remotely!

Glamazons,

Have you ever heard of that game “That’s my car”? My brother and I played it growing up whenever beautiful luxury cars would drive past us on the street. It’s the first thing that came to mind when I saw the 2015 Lincoln MKC because, guys, that’s my car.

But I didn’t spot it whizzing by while playing on my front lawn like back in the day. I first laid eyes on the Lincoln MKC at the unveiling last Wednesday at luxe NYC event spot, Espace.

The first thing I noticed was that for an SUV, it has a sleek and sculpted body. It just looks cool.

But what really got my attention is the fact that the SUV’s technology is unmatched. It comes with the MyLincoln mobile app that will locate your car for you (a lifechanger for anyone who routinely can’t remember where they parked – story of my life).

The app can also start your car remotely so no more venturing out to the driveway in the blistering cold to heat up your ride. You can now start the car (or schedule a start time) and heat or cool the interior from your smartphone while you’re getting ready. When you step out, magically, it’s ready to go. Glamazons, this app is going to change lives!

It can also tell you how much gas is in the tank and air is in the tires. Can you say ‘convenience’?

And the cool technology doesn’t end there. There’s a feature called ‘Approach Detection,’ which detects your key FOB when you approach the car and welcomes you with warm signature lighting including a Lincoln logo which is projected on the ground. How cool is that?!

Check out more amazing new features:

-The car boasts a wide and low stance, which lowers the center of gravity and allows for better handle.

-Speed demons will love that it has a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that produces 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque.

-The Continuously Controlled Damping allows for a smoother ride as it monitors the road and adjusts suspension to better absorb potholes.

Nice!

Lincoln MKC production is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2014. Though some of us in NYC got a sneak peek at the unveiling last week, the L.A. Auto Show will be its first official public appearance. Can’t wait!

Here’s me hanging out with Sekou of Simply Rides, Christen of Divas Drive in Heels and Peter Kadin at the Lincoln MKC unveiling at Espace. Get into that cool Lincoln nametag. Seeing this blog on a nametag never gets old!

What do you think of the car and the new technology?

I love it! Read more about the Lincoln MKC here.

Kisses,
