What I Wore: Scarlet Fever

Glamazons,

I have a thing for red dresses especially on date night (who doesn’t?!) but a crimson blazer is just as sexy and bold with an added dose of sophistication. It’s the color of lipstick and passion and fire and general hotness, but you can still wear it to work. Win!

I’ve been looking for the perfect red blazer for what seems like forever, and finally found it at UK retailer, Wallis. I’m squealing thinking about all the ways I can wear it!

But first up, I had to throw it on with my new Catherine Malandrino for Kohls cutout shift dress (yes, the one I have been eyeing for weeks – I finally got it!).

The dress has exquisite laser-cut detailing. It’s a shift silhouette so I added a belt (a la Olivia Palermo) to give it some shape:

It’s a total conversation piece. Almost everyone I run into compliments me on it.

And then, I topped it all off with my Zara chain necklace with metal feathers which blends red, turquoise, yellow and black beads. I’m obsessed with it.

Best thing about the blazer? It has zippers on the pockets.

POW!

A blazer is a must-have for Fall! With a blazer, you can wear your summer dresses longer and it’s a fun way to inject a pop of color into your cold weather wardrobe.

Crushing on red, like me? Shop the look below:

Kisses,

Glamazon Jessica
