Scandal Fashion Recap: Olivia Pope’s Donna Karan Draped Coat and Giorgio Armani One-Button Jacket

Glamazons,

I’ve realized “Scandal” is bad for my health.

*SPOILER*

My blood pressure was high for the entire third episode: bombs, hostages and murder attempts on CIA agents are more than I can handle.

In the chaos, I almost didn’t notice Olivia Pope didn’t change the whole episode, not even once! She went from a morning of hostage negotiation to an evening with Jake all in the same outfit.

And might I add it was pretty battered by the end (and some pieces may have been destroyed altogether…tears for her Donna Karan coat). Ready to walk through her look?

Liv started her day in a Donna Karan blueish gray draped cashmere coat:

She managed the negotiations between Mary and the government wearing a Giorgio Armani Fall 2013 lavender asymmetrical, one-button silk jacket and pants:

Underneath the jacket, Livvie rocked a Natori silver silk shell top:

She accessorized with an Ippolita ‘Octagonal Onyx’ station necklace:

Do you see how stained her pants got by the end of the episode? Our Livvie had to get down and dirty both literally and figuratively. She’s not in white and that makes total sense, considering she had to lie to Mary (at the President’s request). *takes off her White Hat*

You know Liv hates compromising her morals, and her little white lie resulted in Mary‘s suicide. Yikes!

What do you think of Liv‘s look this episode? Do you think she made the right decision? Tell me in the comments.

Oh and for the line of the episode:

Zing!
