#NYFW: 15 Fashion Insiders To Follow at New York Fashion Week

Glamazons, rejoice! New York Fashion Week kicks off today but unfortunately, I won’t be on hand for any of the shows. *Insert double sad face*

Even though I won’t physically be there, I want to hear alllll about it. Luckily for me, social media will make it easy for me to stay in the know about everything that goes down in and around Lincoln Center. To make sure I don’t miss a beat, I will be plugged into to some of my favorite blogs, checking in on a few fabulous editors and stalking the instagram accounts of some of the hottest models.

My number one destination will be Glamazons Blog, of course. Glamazon Jessica will give us all a front-row seat to New York Fashion Week through reviews, roundups, and all the runway action (follow her journey at #NYFWCrawl).

Here are 15 other fashion insiders I’ll be social media stalking this week:

1. June Ambrose

June Ambrose (@juneambrose): June is my fashion fairy godmother. Her unbelievably stylish looks (chronicled through Instagram pictures) and refreshing take on runway trends shouldn’t be missed.

2. Julee Wilson

Julee Wilson (@missjulee): Julee, the Style & Beauty Editor for Huffington Post Black Voices, posts informative tidbits about designers and trends while making us all drool over her gorgeous shoes and beautiful natural hair ‘fro.

3. Anna Dello Russo

Anna Dello Russo (@annadellorusso): Anna is a must-follow: a true fashion insider and street style star! I can’t get enough of the Vogue Japan editor’s fierce fashion moments and colorful commentary.

4. Elaine Welteroth

Elaine Welteroth (@elainewelteroth): Teen Vogue‘s beauty and health director always has her pulse on the goings-on about town. Bonus? She gets the scoop on all the amazing makeup and hair products before anyone else.

5. Jourdan Dunn

Jourdan Dunn (@missjourdandunn): Besides being insanely gorgeous and posting the most stunning selfies you’ve ever seen, this British model is sure to strut her stuff in several shows. She isn’t shy about giving the tea from behind-the-scenes at the fittings like when Kanye West‘s shoes were super hard to walk in. Loves it!

6. PopSugar Beauty

PopSugar Beauty (@popsugarbeauty): This is the account to follow for all the hair, nails and makeup news backstage. From stunning Instagram snaps to reviews under 140 characters, PopSugar has it all!

7. Fashion Week NYC

FashionWeekNYC (@fashionweeknyc): This independent industry insider snags front row invites to all the shows at #NYFW. Follow for his exclusive video and images.

8. The Sartorialist

The Sartorialist (@Sartorialist): He’s the undisputed king of street style. I can’t wait to see what he captures with his lens during #NYFW! Follow him so you don’t miss a flick.

9. Glam.com

Glam.com (@glam_com): Glam.com has unprecedented access to the shows from backstage to the front row. Follow for exclusive insider information and the scoop on fashion trends as soon as they hit the runway.

10. DKNY

DKNY PR Girl  (@dkny): Ever wonder what it’s like putting one of New York Fashion Week’s hottest shows together? DKNY PR Girl spills it all from creating the much-coveted invite list to picking the celebs that will sit front row. Plus she’s delightful, witty and loves “Gossip Girl” as much as I do.

11. The Cut

The Cut (@thecut): For all the tea from the afterparties, look no further than The Cut! They’re on the scene at all the events from the fashion week lounges to the VIP parties! After reading their random celebrity snaps and play-by-play tweets, I always feel like I was there.

12. Garance Dore

Garance Doré (@garancedore): Get more of your street style fix with Garance Dore, who is responsible for some of the most beautiful shots of our favorite bloggers and celebs (like Solange!). Can’t wait to see all this season’s snaps!

13. Eric Wilson

EricWilsonNYT (@EricWilsonNYT): I LIVE for Eric Wilson‘s witty and biting first reactions to the shows. The New York Times fashion scribe is a must-follow for New York Fashion Week, and gets the scoop from all the shows in Paris, Milan and London too.

14. Eva Chen

Eva Chen (@evachen212): The new editor-in-chief of Lucky Magazine is a delight to follow – from her charming outfit posts to her swoon-worthy accessories shots and coverage of the top designers at New York Fashion Week. Love it all!

15. Derek Blasberg

Derek Blasberg (@DerekBlasberg): When it comes to access, he has it. He’s the Editor-at-Large of Harper’s Bazaar and V Magazine. But we follow him because he’s a staple at the best Fashion Week parties and there isn’t a model or designer in this biz who doesn’t love him.

Let the social media stalking begin.

Happy New York Fashion Week, Glamazons!

Fashionably yours,

Glamazon Jamiese
