When I first started doing outfit posts on Glamazons Blog, the immediate feedback I got was that my skin always looked touch-ably soft. In fact, it was this post that inspired a commenter to write that my legs looked smooth and moisturized even though it was freezing outside at the time.
A secret about that shoot? I didn’t even apply lotion that day. And I don’t most days. I know you’re thinking I’m a horrible beauty blogger, but it’s because I use Dove Body Wash. Seriously, it’s the best thing ever invented (not an understatement, lol) and my skin loves me for it.
Despite access to a gazillion beauty brands and luxurious body washes, I still use Dove — and have been using it since I was a little girl. From their soaps to their deodorants (only Women’s deodorant that’s strong enough to work for me!) to their body washes, there are few products in their line I don’t use.

But about that body wash…oh, how I love thee! Let’s count the ways:
–Dove‘s “Go Fresh Restore Blue Fig and Orange Blossom” body wash is my pick for summer. It turns my shower into a spa-like oasis. Combined with a loofah, I work up a creamy lather that literally takes me away…for the 5 minutes before I have to head out atleast.
-It leaves me feeling so fresh and so clean (cue Outkast). I hate using sticky, perfume-heavy body washes that make me feel like I’m still dirty after use! Dove body wash always gives me a burst of freshness, no matter the scent, and I love them for it! Blue Fig and Orange Blossom smells delish without being overpowering. Perfection.
-It can be used as a shaving gel. It’s just that soft. Sometimes, I lather up with Dove Body Wash, bring out my razor and get to shaving. Afterwards, my skin is just as soft and supple as if I used a shaving product. Body wash that has multiple uses? I’ll take three.
-And about the moisture: Dove is gentle and nourishing where other body washes are drying. It’s infused with NutriumMoisture® technology that refreshes and hydrates my skin. AND IT LASTS! I rarely apply lotion after and my skin stays moisturized all day. No need for a re-up.
-All that for an affordable price (under $8!)? Swoon.
