Countdown to #NYFW! See Inspiration and Sketches from Tracy Reese, Rachel Roy and More!

Glamazons,

I am so excited for New York Fashion Week! I am just itching to see all the fabulous fashion that will grace the runway for the Fall 2013 season this year. Whose collection are you most excited to see?

As we count down the hours until New York Fashion Week starts, check out sketches that will make you swoon:

Tracy Reese

It’s not a Tracy Reese collection without a sharp focus on chic and feminine frocks.

Inspiration: “A classic and flattering floral frock in Scarlet is embellished with delicate beading and paired with a flat closed toe bootie to create a timeless and modern yet easy-to-wear look.”

Dennis Basso

Inspiration: “My 30th anniversary collection is a tribute to the great American icons. Women such as Babe Paley, Gloria Guinness and Milicent Rogers embody the glamour, strength and elegance that has inspired me throughout my career.”

Rachel Roy

Inspiration: “Global artistic expression informs the modern exotic with re-imagined shape, color and texture.”

Rebecca Taylor

Inspiration: “Fall 2013 silhouettes are modern and clean with organic architectural embellishments, colorblocking and fabric mixing. Soft silks both opaque and sheer with subtle textures are contrasted with modern structured tailoring and leather to create tension and balance. Prints are textural and graphic composed with a color palette grounded in muted neutrals and accented with blushy pinks, cognacs and scarlet.”

Monika Chiang

Inspiration: “I’m fascinated by mechanics, the bold geometry and graphic shapes created through flight. It is that raw power and beauty that is at the heart of my Fall 2013 collection.”

Glamazons, what do you think of these sketches? Tell us in the comments.

Stay Fabulous!
