What I Wore: Winter Brights

Glamazons,

By now you know I’m totally adverse to letting bad weather ruin my sense of style. And one thing I refused to give up on this winter — besides maxi skirts — is bright colors. I think every cold-weather ensemble needs a jolt of color to energize the look. Drab is so not the move this season.

To be honest, I’ve never really been in all black kind of person. I love Victoria Beckham and Angelina Jolie, but my personality and style is a lot louder.

In New York City, magazine editors dress like they’re headed to a funeral everyday and that is SO not me. My purse is neon pink for crying out loud.

Despite the fact that editors at industry events continue to look at me like I’m sooo bright and it’s sooo offensive, I am going to fully embrace my love of colors this season, starting with my bright turquoise pants from Hue.

To winterize them, I wore my black and white coat from Bebe, a black sheer blouse from H&M, my Juicy Couture patent leather and gold metal bag and Christian Louboutin suede booties.

Oh and for my beauty look, I went for my beloved Azealia Banks X MAC Cosmetics lippie and rocked a posh top knot.

What do you think of my look, Glamazons?
