New Beauty Brand On My Radar: Le Metier de Beaute

I can’t even remember the last time that I got a facial. Actually, I’m lying: it was back in August when I treated myself to a day at the spa in honor of my birthday. I was sooo exhausted though that I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the table so there’s not much that I remember about it. Mess. Then, I had a baby and the last thing on my mind is getting a facial. (Don’t get it twisted though…I still pile on the eye cream and slather on the face serums.) S0, you can imagine my glee when I received an email from beauty brand Le Metier de Beaute to come over to one of their beauty counters and test out their newest skincare product, the Mask & Peel Set.

Here’s the new Mask & Peel set. Fancy right?!

After dropping off Arterbaby with the sitter, I drove on over to NorthPark Mall here in Dallas, TX and strutted on over to Neiman Marcus. (Yes, I say strut because I was rocking my thigh high black leather Michael Kors boots and feeling myself. Werk.) I was greeted by the lovely Patrice who mans the counter there. She immediately showed me awesome new products from their holiday collection (more on that later!).

Patrice rocked my world. i took this quick photo of her when she was re-applying her lip gloss before we took our photo. She’s super nice and very knowledgeable about all of the products in the line!

Lip glosses from the new holiday collection. Side note: isn’t their packaging everything?!

The limited edition Kaleidoscope Eye Kit called Bauhaus. Patricia used this on my eyes after the facial. All of these shades can be layered on top of one another and you can deepen or lighten as needed depending on what look you’re going for. LOVE!

Pretty nail polishes! My fave is that purple shade that you see pictured here.

Next, she applied the Mask & Peel Set. This set consists of two items: the CHEM60 Pro Peel and the GLOW10ai Mask. The Pro Peel is really neat due to its unique brush-on applicator. She applied this all over my face and let it sit for about 5 minutes before applying the mask. While it felt kind of goopy on my face, it was very soothing. After letting it dry, you simply peel it off and voila! You’re done. My skin was left super soft and flawless. It took all of Jesus and his disciples for me  to not take the entire set right then and somehow stuff it into my Marc Jacobs bag.

My finished beauty look thanks to the fabulous Patrice!

I definitely dig this brand and can’t wait to get more of their goodies to review and tell you all about them, Glamazons!
