As if Solange Knowles‘s “Losing You” video wasn’t phenomenal enough all by itself, more goodness has come from the collaboration by way of her new ELLE South Africa cover. Remember we gave you the scoop that the video’s (perfect!) wardrobe was selected by Asanda Sizaniwas, ELLE South Africa‘s Fashion Director? Well now, Ms. Sol Angel is flanking the cover of the mag’s November 2012 issue.
Isn’t she glorious? She looks so easy breezy in a mixed prints ensemble with a contrasting tank top and high-waisted shorts. Red, white and blue bangles, a perfectly curled ‘fro and orange-y red lips bring the look together.
P to the S – I get my life from that yellow backdrop!
All the cover’s energy and verve is complimented by a line calling the Madewell spokesbeauty “Fashion’s New It Girl.” Yep, sounds about right.
