Fashion Faceoff: Michelle Obama vs. Ann Romney in Pink at the 2nd Presidential Debate
Glamazons,
Did you see the second Presidential debate last night? I was completely engrossed in the conversation moderated by Candy Crowley, hanging onto President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney‘s every word.
While pundits said President Obama flubbed the first debate, he looked stronger and sharper in the second one which conversely saw Romney struggle with questions and mistruths, according to critics.
The debate was certainly heated and intense which made it all the more ironic when the candidates’ wives came out wearing the same color. Awkward boots!
Mrs. Obama wore a bubblegum pink crewneck sheath dress and matching jacket. She accessorized with a single strand of white pearls.
Her hair was laid for Athena, Apollo and Zeus and shined like morning dew after 40 days of rain. It was so beautiful, in fact, it was all anyone spoke about on Twitter last night. It won the debate.
Ann Romney also went for a pepto-pink look in a textured, short-sleeve dress.
She color-blocked with a blue necklace and blush brocade jacket, which she took off once the debate got started.
Twitter users pointed out that Ann had visible panty lines (they don’t miss a thing on Twitter!), which is a total fashion faux paux. Spanx it up next time, Ann.
And now for a little loving…
Cuteness.
The ladies could have went for pink as a nod to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which makes them both winners in my book.
But who do you think was prettier in pink last night? Tell us your verdict in the comments.
And catch the full debate here:
Interested to see if the polls change after this one.
Kisses,
Glamazon Jessica
