GLAM OR SHAM?: Rihanna’s 40/40 Club Barclays Center Grand Opening Acne Resort 2013 and Manolo Blahnik Sandals
From sweatpants and sneakers to designer threads ripped from the runway, Glamazon Rihanna is constantly switching things up. And that’s why we love her! Now, I can’t say I love every look, but she a way of putting her own spin to things and you gotta respect that. Even when it looks cray.
Yep, cray is right. Rih‘s latest look had me scratching my head and wondering (privately) what she’s going through. The “Diamonds” singer stepped out to the opening of Jay-Z‘s 40/40 Club at the Barclays Center in a printed blouse and matching trousers from Acne‘s Resort 2013 collection.
Hmmm…
Rihanna wore Acne‘s “Patia Currency” blouse and “Karma Currency” pants to the event. Check out the pieces on the runway:
I love the pieces, Glamazons, just not together. The two combined looks like Rihanna is rocking PJ’s. This look is very reminiscent of her Stella McCartney ‘fit at the Battleship Premiere in Tokyo last April. And that look was a SHAM, so why is she rocking the trend again? I’m confused.
Well, atleast she can give a shoe moment. Rih teamed her printed pieces with her fave Manolo Blahnik sandals and her signature jewelry.
Unfortunately this look is a sham for me. But bless her heart.
