We’re in Day 3 of New York Fashion Week, Glamazons! What shows are your favorite so far? I may have a new favorite! I’ve loved Jason Wu for his sophisticated frocks often favored by Michelle Obama. But this season? He gave me everything I didn’t in the form of leather, harness and red lipstick.

So here’s what we saw:

 

Inspiration: Style.com reported that Jason Wu was heavily influenced by Helmut Newton’s exhibit at the Grand Palais in Paris. Helmut Newton said of that exhibit that he wanted to “do everything forbidden, everything you don’t do,” and Jason Wu’s Spring 2013 collection was born.

Key Pieces: Leather, leather everywhere! Leather with harnesses, leather worn with lipstick, leather and lace.

Who We Could See Working This Look: Some of the more tame looks? Michelle Obama. Everything else? Risk takers like Rihanna and Katy Perry.
