GLAM SLAM: Michelle Obama’s Democratic National Convention Diane von Furstenberg Resort 2013 ‘Porsha’ Dress
So Fashion Week isn’t the only big thing happening in the world right now (believe it or not). The Democratic National Convention is under way and we’re totally not biased over here at the blog (okay, we kind of are) but we are SO into Michelle Obama’s fashion over umm, other candidates’ wives fashion ( <– me throwing oak tree shade).
And can you blame us? She looks faboosh everytime she steps out. I can’t wait for the speeches (and will be working through hers tonight, yes my daily job brings me out of style every now and then) but I’m just as excited to see her #DNC wardrobe, because you know it will slay.
Take her first outfit of the Democratic National Convention, for instance. Yes yes yes! For the walk-through on September 3, 2012, Mrs. O looked stunning in Diane von Furstenberg’s ‘Porsha’ dress in Cable Squares Lime and Cable Squares Mink from the Resort 2013 collection. Gorgeous!
She is so unbelievably stylish that she paired it with the season’s “It” shoe trend, black pumps with white cap toe heels.
For her to look classy, regal and stay on top of the latest like your favorite trendy celebrity? *Bows down in honor.*
The mix of colors and prints here is why Mrs. O is my favorite…living human at this point.
Doesn’t she look wonderful? (She SO has my vote!)
