InstaGLAM: Trina’s “Think Like Oprah, Act like Rihanna” Truth Univercity Tank PLUS See Rih’s Oprah’s Next Chapter Interview
Glamazons, you know we love a tank moment, especially with a sassy saying! And with the flood of such tops on the market, we are super excited to find one that actually made us chuckle. In the vein of the ubiquitous phrase (and book, and movie) “Think like A Man, Act like A Woman,” the cool kids behind Truth Univercity came up with a cleverly funny saying “Think like Oprah, Act like Rihanna.”
Not only is the saying timely (hello, Rih was on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” yesterday) but it’s also hilar. Rihanna gives wild child, rude gal realness everytime she steps out, gets dressed or posts on social media. And Oprah is a bawse, one of the most recognizable media moguls in the world. And Mother clearly has a master plan to build up her ratings with interviews we can’t help but watch every Sunday (Gabby Douglas is next). So the message? Act like a rebel, think like a mogul. I’ll take it.

I appreciate how honest and raw Rihanna is! It’s so courageous plus her flaws make her relatable and endearing. And for a hugely successful pop star, she’s so humble and down-to-earth! I loved that she said “we’re all people” about her fans. So many celebrities think they’re above their fans, or people in general, so it’s refreshing to see that she is still grounded. And everyone in her Bajan neighborhood still calls and sees her as Robyn. Love it!
