5 Best Fashion Moments at the Olympics Closing Ceremony
Glamazons,
Did you watch the Olympics closing ceremony? I HAD to, of course, because some of my favoritest models to ever walk the earth strutted for their lives and umm, the Spice Girls reunited. Spice up your freaking life! My pre-teen soul was leaping for joy (I always was Posh Spice when my friends and I dressed up by the way! She was such a snobby fashion god, even back then).
Some people were unimpressed. Our friend, Aly Walansky, even hilariously tweeted: “If we’re being fair, this entire ceremony could have been performed, with an identical set list, at the 1992 Olympics.”
LOL! As I’m still living in the 90s, that’s fine with me. And they gave fashion for my nerves! What more can a Glamazon ask for?
Here are five life-giving moments:
1. Mother Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Jourdan Dunn in Alexander McQueen.
EPIC.
2. Jessie J‘s bodysuits.
Who knew she had all that underneath her funky outfits?
3. The return of the Spice Girls!
Victoria Beckham wore Giles Deacon; Mel B. wore Zuhair Murad; Geri ‘Ginger’ Halliwell wore Suzanne Neville; Emma Bunton wore Maggie Cooke.
Be still my teenage heart.
4. Georgia May Jagger in Victoria Beckham.
Rock and roll meets fashion royalty.
5. Mel B aka Scary Spice‘s body.
Enough said.
We also loved us some Emeli Sandé! What was your favorite part of the Olympics closing ceremony, Glamazons?
Kisses,
Glamazon Jessica
