Strike a Pose: Gwen Stefani Covers Harper’s Bazaar September 2012
Glamazons, I’ve always been kind of obsessed with Gwen Stefani. I’m a 90s girl (hence this) and have spent many afternoons screaming No Doubt lyrics at the top of my lungs while dancing on my bed. Then, I’d climb down and smear my pre-teen lips in red lipstick to be just like Gwen. (Blonde hair dye wasn’t happening, my mom was not about that life). But Gwen was my Glamazonian she-ro. She is such a cool, edgy rockstar but then, still manages to be girly and adorable at the same damn time. Oh and she’s unbelievably beauteous and hasn’t aged a bit since my jumping on the mattress days.
Now that No Doubt is staging a comeback (and Spice Girls, my life is so complete), Gwen Stefani is back in the spotlight, two kids and nann wrinkle later. And the gorgeous lead singer landed the cover of Harper’s Bazaar in a pink dramatic hat and strapless gown (this is sort of like the bubblegum version of Lady Gaga‘s cover, no?).
She looks brilliant. Inside, she gives us that sassy attitude and girlish charm we’ve always loved in a fitted black peplum dress, a pink ruffle gown, a pink one-shoulder jumpsuit, a rust leather bodycon dress and more. SERVE.
What do you think of her shoot, Glamazons? Is it giving you all of this life and the next?
Kisses,
Glamazon Jessica
