VIDEO GLAM: Beyonce “I Was Here” World Humanitarian Day Video

It’s World Humanitarian Day today and as promised, Queen Beyonce released her video for “I Was Here” filmed in front of a live audience at the United Nations General Assembly. We gave you the scoop earlier that she wore a Marc Bouwer Pre-Fall 2012 gown for the taping and the elegant, form-fitting dress looks just as breathtaking in motion. Her beautiful voice, the magnificent backdrop and arresting images of people helping and even saving each other totally gives me an epic, icon moment. Like, this should be the UN’s official video and soundtrack!

At first, I wasn’t going to participate in #WHD (I mean, I try to do something nice everyday) but the timing happens to coincide with a mentorship program I was involved in over the weekend (more on that later!) and I feel so inspired and uplifted from being a part of it.
