I Need This To Live: Michelle Obama’s Kiss Cam Gregory Parkinson Spring 2011 Floral Skirt

I have grown an obsession with midi skirts recently. They’re ladylike, sophisticated, trendy, the whole nine. But most of all, they’re comfortable. The swingy silhouette is so easy, breezy and perfect for summer!

Michelle Obama knows the power of a midi skirt. One of her closet staples is a Gregory Parkinson floral skirt from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

The midi-length skirt has a tiered hem and a multicolor floral print. Pretty, pretty!

For the United States vs. Brazil pre-Olympic exhibition basketball game, Mrs. O paired the skirt with a solid navy tank top, silver hoop earrings and beaded bracelets. Effortless!


She looked so stylish, in fact, President Barack Obama couldn’t keep his lips off of her when they were caught by the “Kiss Cam.” At first, Michelle played it cool but at the prodding of adorable daughter Malia, the First Couple kissed while the crowd cheered.
